Recruiting for Employee Replacement Job Ad
Human resources management: Write one page about diversity inclusion in a job role. Then write one page a compelling and exiting Job Ad
What do you do when someone leaves your organization unexpectedly? Do you replace them internally, or from outside the organization? How do you ensure that a diverse candidate pool is reviewed before selected his replacement?
Carl Sheppard, VP of Operations, has just resigned. His departure was quite unexpected, especially after such a long career with KGW HealthCare. It is especially troubling since Mr. Sheppard was such an outstanding team member and ran a highly profitable operation.
- Use the KGW Data File with Boss File found in the AwareHR Library to create a slate of candidates to replace Carl Sheppard from within the Regional Manager role. Are there viable candidates to replace him from within the organization, and if so, with whom? Please list your choices and explain thoroughly. (will attach screenshots)
- Write one page Clearly articulate what plan of action KGW should take to improve diversity and inclusion representation in this role. ( See the attached PP slides named Diversity Recruiting)
- we know we don’t have much if any diversity we know we don’t have any diversity at the senior most levels of the organization. VP, CEO white males no diversity whatsoever.
- There is one female in the group below the VP level.
- There is no ethnic diversity, so we need to do something about that that’s part of your plan which.
- Since we must search externally for candidates to fulfill our pledge to D&I, use the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6W5JfN3DQ1k, to write a compelling job ad to utilize with our hiring manager.
- If we do not have enough suitable candidates for the VP of Operations, you must search externally for candidates. Utilizing the free resume such as https://www.jobspider.com/job/resume-search.asp (or elsewhere), see if you can find a candidate in the healthcare field or someone with transferable skills? Will it require special recruiting efforts (bonus, relocation, spousal assistance, etc.)? Please explain your search and selection. If you actually find someone, attach a copy of his or her resume to your paper.
(You may check jobs ad websites such as indeed or others and look for job ads for the same position to help you and write a compelling and exciting one, not a boring old one.
