Instructions: Answer the following prompt in 1500 words maximum. Submit as a team paper by the due date listed. Only submit one paper per team with the participating team members identified at the top.
Prompt Scenario: Imagine 5 years from graduation. You are pursuing a significant promotion at your company (a global leader in the industry). If you are chosen, the new position would give you a well-earned opportunity to become a team leader in the division. You have made it to the final round interviews and are seated with the hiring manager, the head of human resources, and the chief diversity and inclusion officer for the company. All three have reviewed your file, including your college transcript. They noticed that you completed MGT 18: Managing Diverse Teams and are quite interested to know how you would apply course learnings if you were promoted.
Drawing from any of the course content in MGT 18 (Weeks 1-10), what would you find most valuable to say in this final interview to win the promotion? Work together as a team to strategize and develop a coherent response that presents your knowledge, skills and beliefs about diverse teams and team leadership. An excellent essay submission last quarter structured their remarks in the first person in response to hypothetical questions asked by the interviewing panel.
