1- Think back to your childhood. How did you play as a young child? Why was playing important to you? Do you think the nature of play and the opportunity for play has changed? If it has changed in what way or ways has it changed?

After researching the theories, for each theory write a one-page paper summarizing what you learned. Ensure your paper addresses the following question:

- What are the key concepts of the theory?
- How does the theory support the environment in the classroom?
- How can the theory be used in the planning curriculum?
