undefined
Module 1: The changing nature of agribusiness
undefined
Module 2: Concepts of value and value creation
undefined
Module 3: Value chain management: an overview
undefined
Your review should be based ONLY on three (3) journal articles. In selecting these research papers follow the following steps:
undefined
- Select one or more modules for your review and select any 3 journal articles and or reports from the reading list representing the module(s) you have selected.
- Critically review the selected articles/reports and present the critique in your own words (please see the marking criteria under Assessment tab in your course BB site).
- Provide correct referencing (Harvard style) style.
undefined
TASK
undefined
Review the selected literature and discuss:
undefined
- How the central concepts in the selected articles relate to value chain management and its applicability in the developed and/or developing countries. Also build your arguments making references to the changing nature of the agribusinesses and their operating environment.
- Constructively critique each article on the above-mentioned themes.
- Summarise what you have learned from critiquing the articles:
undefined
- What new knowledge did you gain about the focus of the articles?
- What idea (s) in the articles were confirmed or challenged from your previous experience?
undefined
Back up all claims you made about the articles with evidence or examples from the articles or from your own experiences. Your critique should stand alone, i.e., it should be possible to comprehend your entire critique without referring to the journal articles. If you simply summarise, rather than critique the articles, you will not be addressing the requirements or criteria for this piece of work.
